Exchange market News: 7th week 2012
Kladno 17. 2. 2012 – Nine contracts for the supply of 4.900 m3 of wood was concluded in the 7th week on the Timber Exchange floor. The value of contracts reached 10.5 million.
The most traded timber was spruce timber quality A/B, thickness degree 2b, delivery condition EXW, which was sold at amount of 3 700 m3. Its price, depending on the length, thickness and place of landing ranged from CZK 2350 to 2460 per m3, the average price for the stock assembly was 2 381 per m3.
Larch timber II. and III. class with delivery condition EXW were sold for CZK 2 350/m3, pine logs with the prevailing quality of D (EXW) for CZK 1 400 per m3. Price of softwood fiber, delivery condition FCA reached CZK 950/m3. Oak fiber (EXW) was traded at CZK 1 050/m3.
Exchange market News: 6th week 2012
Kladno 10. 2. 2012 – 12 contracts for the supply of 7 750 m3 of wood was concluded in the 6th week on the Timber Exchange floor. In financial terms this represents 12.3 million CZK.
The average price of spruce timber, quality A/B, thickness degree 2b, EXW, reached CZK 2 330 per m3. Pine logs (EXW) was sold at an average price CZK 1 818/m3, coniferous pulp (EXW) for CZK 750 to 1 170/m3.
On the energy market of Czech-Moravian Commodity Exchange Kladno was traded 3 519 MWh of low voltage electricity for CZK 4,6 million in 20 contracts during the 6th week.
Exchange market News: 5th week 2012
Kladno 3. 2. 2012 – On the floor of Timber Exchange four contracts for the supply of 2 800 m3 timber for more than 6.2 million were concluded in the 5th calendar week, Exchange Assembly No. 1322.
Spruce timber quality A/B, thickness degree 2b, EXW was traded at the price of CZK 2 350 per m3, coniferous pulp, lenght 2.5 meter (suitable for sawing), with the delivery condition EXW was CZK 1 170/m3.
Two contracts for 4 357 MWh of electricity supply for end customers for years 2012 and 2013 were concluded on the energy market during the 5th week, financial worth was 5,7 million CZK. On the market with graded brown coal 1 000 tons of coal for CZK 1.6 million was sold.

Kladno 26. 1. 2012 – Five contracts for the supply of 2.000 m3 of wood was concluded on the floor of Timber Exchange on Thursday 26 January. The value of contracts exceeded CZK 4 million.
The most traded commodity was spruce timber quality A/B, thickness degree 2b, EXW, which depending on the length, thickness and place of landing was selling at the price of CZK 2 370 to 2 600 per m3. Pine timber quality A/B (EXW) was trading at CZK 2 100 per m3, spruce pulp with DTD specification and delivery condition FCA for the price CZK 850 per m3.
On the energy market of Czech-Moravian Commodity Exchange Kladno was traded 1 502 MWh of electricity supply for end customers and 2 093 MWh of natural gas for end customers for more than 3,2 million CZK in the 4th calendar week.

Kladno 6. 1. 2012 – 9 contracts with total amount of 6 600 m3 of timber were concluded on the floor of the Wood Exchange. Financial worth was more than CZK 14 milion. The spruce pulp, the quality A/B, thickness degree 2b, EXW, was a brand leader with the price CZK 2460 – 2580/m3 depending on the lenght, thickness and place of landing. The pine saw log, quality A/B (EXW) was traded at the price of CZK 1750 – 1800/m3, the spruce pulp, quality D (EXW) was sold at the price of CZK 1650/m3.
Two contracts for the supply of 500 tons of graded brown coal, sort cube, were concluded on the first week of the new year on the energy market of the Czech-Moravian Commodity Exchange Kladno, financial worth was CZK 893 thousand. Then was traded the supply of 846 MWh of natural gas for the end customers for CZK 582 thousand during the first week.
Volume of trades concluded during the last year on the Energy Exchange of the CMKBK approached to the border of 2.5 million MWh
Kladno 4. 1. 2012 – Electricity and natural gas with delivery to end customers in the amount of nearly 2.5 million megawatt-hours (MWh) were contracted last year on the Energy Exchange, energy market organized by the Czech-Moravian Commodity Exchange Kladno (ČMKBK). Compared to the year 2010, trading volume increased more than fivefold. Of the total volume last year traded energies with the supply for years 2011 to 2013, gas deals represented 51.3 percent, ie 1 billion 158 million CZK (1 691 gigawatt hours). The commodity electricity for end customers were then contracted supplies of 1.1 billion CZK (774 GWh).
The intention is to be ČMKBK central market place for trading energy supplies for end customers in the country. Due to the dynamic development of the energy supply market in 2011 can expect the increasing volume of contracted deliveries in 2012 to a level of 4 million megawatt hours of energies.
Trading volumes in raw timber on the floor of Timber Exchange in 2011 attacked 1 bilion CZK
Kladno 2. 1. 2012 – Contracts with total amount of 953 million CZK were concluded on the floor of Timber Exchange in 2011. The Timber market is organized since 2005 by Czech-Moravian Commodity Exchange Kladno. The total volume of contracted supply in volume terms was more than 543 cubic meters of timber. Both values represented the highest annual balance of trade in the six-year history of the Timber Exchange.
During the existence of Timber Exchange was on the market traded a total of 1 million 680 thousand cubic meters of wood. Financial worth was 2 bilion 805 milion CZK. CMKBK during the past years has trained almost 50 brokers who trade on their own and represent individual participants. Interest in timber by producers, traders and processors of stock market trading has been increased from 15 registered participants at the time of establishment of the market to 155 subjects in December 2011.

Kladno 8. 12. 2011 – 22 contracts with total amount 15300 m3 of timber were concluded on the floor of the Secondary Exchange Market of CMKBK on Thursday 8 December. Financial worth was CZK 31.2 million. The most traded commodity was the spruce saw log, quality A/B, thickness degree 2b, Incoterms EXW, the price was CZK 2400 – 2680/m3 in accordance to the lenght, thickness and the place of landing. The softwood pulp, FCA was sold at the price of CZK 1000/m3.
On the energy market of the Czech-Moravian Commodity Exchange Kladno during the 49th week were signed 4 contracts for the supply of 47 GWh of natural gas for end customers for more than 30.4 million CZK. The recovery was also on the market with graded brown coal, where in nine contracts were traded 10,750 tons of coal, total financial worth was 13.4 million CZK.

Kladno 1. 12. 2011 – Total amount of 36,772 MWh of electricity and 10,529 MWh of natural gas for end customers was traded on the 48th week on the energy market of the Czech-Moravian Commodity Exchange Kladno. This was in 42 contracts whose total value was 57.2 million crowns.
On Thursday, 1st December on the floor of the secondary Exchange Market were concluded 37 contracts for the supply of 27.600 m3 of wood for more than 53.2 million CZK. The predominant range which was traded was spruce timber quality A/B, thickness degree 2b, with the condition of delivery EXW, which depending on the length, thickness and place of landing was sold at the price of 2350 to 2610 CZK per cubic meter.
Exchange market News: 47th week 2011
Kladno 25. 11. 2011 – More than 166.7 GWh of energy for end customers was traded in the 47th week on the energy market of the Czech-Moravian Commodity Exchange Kladno. This was in 566 contracts whose total value exceeds 152 million crowns.
116 GWh of the total traded volume fell to supplies of natural gas in 2012 (more than CZK 80 million at financial worth). Electricity with the same date of consumption were sold 50.7 GWh for a total financial worth CZK 72 million.
